Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her roles as the protagonist in TV shows like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Mary McCormack is famous for her roles in the movies 'Private Parts as well as 'Deep Insanity, True Crime and 1408. McCormack was born to owners of an ice cream parlor as well as a psychologist who worked in a clinic. Her family has no relationship with entertainment. McCormack was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following her parents' divorce in the year 1990, she enrolled to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She graduated in the BA program for Comparative arts. Her career began at 12 years old when she appeared in the stage production "Amahl & The Night Visitors' a Christmas operetta. As she continued her career as a stage actress, McCormack ultimately became a part of the film and television. McCormack nowadays is recognized for being one of Hollywood's best-known and most versatile performers. She has three daughters with her husband, producer/director Michael Morris.
